South Alabama Athletics
The University of South Alabama Athletic program is steadily growing and becoming nationally known every year. The school is growing in the number of students attending and in area and opportunity. This has undoubtedly pulled in and attracted more and more great athletes who are now carrying this whole athletic program to a new level. There are new facilities that are being provided and better equipment all the time. It is going nowhere but up and doesn't look like it's going to slow down any time soon.
Working Hard
Working hard is something that, in my opinion, should be instilled into every human beings daily life. I think that parents should start talking and tezching their children about hard work at the toungest age. Also, while trying to teach they should be prime examples to their children by working hard in front of them. In order to be successful in the land of opportunity that we live in you must work hard. There are too many people trying to be the best to not owrk hard for yourself. It is, in my opinion, a straight path to success in whatever area you choose.

Time Management
Time management is such an important part of life. Being a student-athlete, I have to really prioritize my time management! My normal daily schedule consists of a full practice, class, weights, meals times, and conditioning. With this schedule I have to make sure I also get my eight hours of sleep and three healthy meals to make sure my body is able to perform at its best. It can be overwhelming to have to do all of these things every day, but with an organized schedule during my day I am able to get everything done with less stress. Time management since I have come to college has been more than necessary and I have appreciated it now more than ever.

South Alabama Softball
The spring season of 2009 and Jaguar Field is getting ready to start. The Lady Jags are practicing and working hard to have a great upcoming season. They have a tough schedule on the road facing four of the eight world series appearance teams from 2008. They actually travel to the defending National Champions, Arizona State. What a challenge for this young program under the instruction of Coach Becky Clark. They couldn't be more excited and feel better prepared to take it on.
